Blood tests
Blood tests can only be obtained on request of a clinician (usually doctor or nurse).
If you have been given a form for a blood test, you will need to attend a phlebotomy clinic to have these done.
Click here for information about these clinics located across the city, including instructions on how to book an appointment.
After you have had your test the clinician should contact you with the results. However, if you have still not heard anything within 2 weeks of the test (or longer if you’ve been advised it will take longer), you can submit an eConsult via our website to make enquiries about results.
Stool samples
HERE are some instructions for how to give a stool (poo) sample if this has been requested from you.
