As a Royal College of General Practitioners accredited research Practice we may invite you to take part in a research study. We will only use your information with your explicit consent, expressed on a consent form.  Your information will be securely held and no identifiable information will leave the practice. All reports and results will be anonymous. You can opt out at any time.

If you do not wish to take part you will not be identified further in the study.

Here are some of the studies we are involved with:

  • The STIMULATE-ICP study is looking at optimal care for long COVID and other long-term conditions.  Any adults interested in improving care for people with long COVID and/or other long-term conditions are invited to complete this survey.  For further information and to complete the survey, please click this link.
  • The SAFER trial. This is a research trial about screening for atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) to reduce the risk of stroke. For more information, click this link.
  • The Immune Defence Study.  The results of this study can be found here.
  • The REDUCE study, which shows that half of long-term antidepressant users can taper off with simple support.  Read more about the REDUCE study HERE
